Common questions
How do I connect accounts from Apple Wallet?
When Freeday offers to connect Apple Wallet, iOS shows a permission prompt. Allow access, then choose the accounts you want to share. Only eligible Wallet accounts appear, and connecting is always optional.
How do I bring my bank data in?
Connect Apple Wallet (UK and US), or go to Settings → Bank connections → Statements to import your bank's CSV export or link a Google Sheet your bank keeps up to date.
Where's my data?
On your iPhone, and in your own private iCloud if you're signed in. We can't see it, so we can't recover it for you. Keep iCloud on so you can restore it on a new phone.
How do I stop sharing Apple Wallet data?
Open the iOS Settings app, go to Privacy & Security, find the Wallet/financial data section and turn off access for Freeday. Freeday then stops receiving new data from Wallet.
How do I delete my data?
Your records live on your iPhone and, if enabled, your own iCloud. Delete them in the app with Settings → Delete all my data, or delete Freeday from your iPhone. To remove synced copies, manage Freeday's data in your iCloud storage settings. Because we don't hold copies of your records, we can't delete them for you — but we're happy to walk you through it.
Does Freeday give financial advice?
No. Freeday helps you organise and understand your own financial information. It does not provide regulated financial advice. For advice on your circumstances, speak to a qualified, regulated adviser.
Where can I read how my data is used?
See the Freeday Privacy Policy.
